Hello all, hope you had a wonderful wednesday! Here are my 2 favorite apps for video! Simply put these 2 apps can be described as the Instagram and the Hipstamatic of the video world (I blogged about these 2 photo apps a while back).
First up is Viddy, its simple, build yourself a profile, film or upload a video, add fancy filters if your little heart desires and you’re done!! From there you sit back, follow people, gain followers, “like” videos, comment on videos……you know, just like, Instagram! Although you can see by my sad sad amount of followers that I have not yet been very active in the Viddy world, but I sure will try harder. I just uploaded a video of our very own DJ Vice playing his set at EDC in vegas this past Friday (which he just blogged) and a video of a few other BIG DJs shopping @ Vices shoe store CRSVR in Las Vegas….can you see who they are?
…and next, is the 8mm app. This is a very easy way to make videos appear “vintage”, by simply pressing the coolest button ever (frame jitter) with this you can achieve the old filmstrip jitters. But, don’t get too carried away with it, I recently watched a few of mine and in them I was so excited about the button that you barely catch any of what I was filming!! Whoops! Get these apps and enjoy!

EDC Las Vegas 2011
Wow what a weekend this was!! I played my first EDC festival in Las Vegas this past Friday Night on the Neon Garden stage. I want to say THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who showed so much support, wether you were there or not I felt the love. Full of bios about the artists, a festival map, where to find the carnival rides, who put together the art installations, where to purchase EDC gear, this app will surely come in handy for this coming weekend.

Travel Tip Thursday – Jawbone Jambox Speaker
Jet lag caught up to me and made me think today was Thursday…OK maybe NOT. For today’s Travel Tip post I thought I would ask you for your comments on what you think is the best travel speaker. I currently have been traveling with the trendy “Jawbone Jambox Speaker” and it seems to be doing an OK job but I feel like there is probably something better out there. The one thing that is cool about this speaker is it’s compact design and bluetooth compatibility. Check it out for yourself and tell me what you think or hit me back and tell me what is BETTER!

Here are 3 of my favorite and most used apps for business purposes, all free for trial with the paid version obviously being better and unlimited.
Cam Scanner: I use this app when I am on the road mostly to scan in receipts (by taking a photo). It creates a PDF file for all documents that are scanned in during each session. Works like a real scanner, with the ability to adjust contrast, brightness and crop selected areas.
Invoice 2 go: This app is great if you often have to send invoices, with many styles to choose from, you can select the perfect look for each occasion. It will keep track of all invoices for you, let you know when they are due, if they are late and you can check them off when they are paid. Keeping a running total for you as the year goes on. This app also has the option for estimates, purchase orders and credit memos, overall an awesome and very convenient app, try it 3 times for free, then get the paid version, its worth it.
Easy Sign: I have to say I saved the best for last on this one, with Easy Sign you can fill out, sign, date and send off any document, its super simple. This app gives you 3 free tries before the full version must be purchased. Get this app, you will love it!

Ibiza Recap!
Im about to leave Europe after 2 weeks of non stop travel. My fiance (@imwiththedeejay) cut up a quick video of our night out at Pacha in Ibiza checking out SHM for the opening of their summer residence, Masquerade Motel. We got to hang with some good friends out there and we even ran into Morillo with a night off. Good Times, Good People, Good Music…what else could you ask for!

Travel Tip Thursday – UMA International
This is a great tip for all my international travelers out there. If you have a T-Mobile Blackberry and you are out of the country but in a wifi hotspot zone you can connect to T-Mobile’s UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access) connection. Basically you turn off your Mobile Network connection on your device and login to the wifi connection. You will then see “UMA” appear in the top right corner of your blackberry screen above the wifi signal. This will allow you to make and receive phone calls as well as receive & send text and BBM messages all under the same plan you use in the states. I have an unlimited text and data plan as well as phone calls so all my calls and texts are free while on the UMA network out of the country! Sounds way to simple right?? WELL IT IS! This is something that is not promoted by T-Mobile but believe me it works. I have been on over 1 hour phone calls and have not been charged a dime. *Random Fact – I have had a T-Mobile Account ever since the 1st Sidekick came out. This phone was the $hit!
