Here are a few apps I use for listening/purchasing the latest from my favorite artists….
If you’re a DJ you have heard of, and or used Beatport. It is THE place to purchase the latest releases at the highest quality, and often times the home of exclusive releases from many artists. The Beatport app is a convenient way to preview and add purchases to your cart from your phone, since it integrates with the version on the web, selections you make from your phone will be in your cart ready to download when you get to your lap/desktop. Im sure they will soon have to update it to keep it as cool as the brand new Beatport beta site they just launched, great job guys!
The Soundcloud app I use as often as most use Pandora. When an artist wants to drop something new and special for their fans….this is where they do it. Simply follow your favorites, and check back to see what they are up to. Or, if you’re making the music, or simply recording sounds, get yourself an account and start sharing, like Flickr, for music. Great site with the potential to change the way you listen to music.

KOBE X CRSVR SB – Vice Interview Preview
What a day yesterday was….Its not normal for me to wake up and realize I am interviewing Kobe Bryant, but thats just what happened! I got the chance of a lifetime to sit down with the MVP inside CRSVR Santa Barbara and talk about his Basketball Academy, Nike Sportswear K.O.B.E. Collection as well as his foundation and even test him on his music game.
I will be posting the interview soon as well as pics but for now here is a couple shots from the event as well as a blast from the past when I got a quick phone interview with Kobe while I was working with Power 106fm in Los Angeles back in 98!

Im feeling kind of nerdy on this fine Wednesday so I am going to keep it geeky with the following apps…
Wolfram-Alpha, also know as a computational knowledge engine will answer questions; do math; instantly get facts, calculators, unit conversions, and real-time quantitative data and statistics; create plots and visualizations; and access vast scientific, technical, chemical, medical, health, business, financial, weather, geographic, dictionary, calendar, reference, and general knowledge—and much more. Its pretty awesome when you wanna stump a friend, I did however pay 2 bucks for it, and I’m gonna say overall its been worth it.
Now, this next app is one I use all the time, Its called Mind Meister, any time I have an idea, I make it the main bubble/topic in the mind map and add to it as I come up with stuff to add to it. You can share them with friends/clients or sync up to 3 maps online for editing @ the desk. Great for creatives and its a freebie.
